Cafe Beybûn

I highly recommend the cafe for its family atmosphere and delicious toasts and menemen (a type of Turkish omelet). I would like to thank Ms. Nuran for her friendly demeanor and hospitality. I strongly recommend it.

It's a warm and inviting atmosphere. If you come here, you should definitely try the toast and menemen (Turkish scrambled eggs with vegetables), and I highly recommend the Kurdish coffee. I'd like to thank Nuran Hanım, the owner of Beybun Cafe, for her sweet and friendly demeanor. You can come here with complete peace of mind.

A very friendly place, their toasts are delicious, I highly recommend it. Especially the owner, Nuran Hanım, is very friendly and attentive, it's wonderful and warm. Thank you for everything, and I must say, the Kurdish coffee is very good.

The menemen (Turkish scrambled eggs) is unlike anything you've ever tasted, and the Kurdish coffee is fantastic – you won't find it anywhere else. I highly recommend it.

The food is good, but it's not filling, especially for a grown man. The waitress speaks very little English. They forgot to serve tea. Menemen is too spicy for breakfast.

Disappointment... I chose this place based on reviews and because it was close to my hotel, and I wanted to introduce my friend from abroad to Menemen and show him our country's rich cultural heritage. However, the establishment exhibited several very strange behaviors. The Menemen was served in a pan, and while eating, I noticed our hands and bread were blackened. I called them over to check, and they told me it was something like "fog," and that such discoloration was normal due to the gas. The stain on my hands was so thick it was difficult to remove even with a napkin; the edge of the pan was completely black, you can imagine the result. Naturally, I didn't accept this service; they even had black marks on their own hands. They apologized, saying they would fix it and bring something else, that it would be resolved in a week, making comments like, "Haven't you ever lived in a village?" I explained that we don't live in a village, that we're currently in a back street off one of Türkiye's most popular streets, and that the price wasn't a village price, it was 250 TL. They then wanted to make an omelet, again in a pan, but this time on a plate. I refused; why should I eat unhealthy food from the same blackened pan? In the end, I paid 500 TL for two Menemen (Turkish scrambled eggs with vegetables), which they said wasn't a mistake and that it would be fixed next week anyway. They're right, our people are okay with bad service and the sale of unhygienic conditions as something natural and genuine. Normally, I don't leave reviews, but I guess that's how it should be now. The owners were kind enough to offer tea. May God bless them and grant them happiness and justice in their lives. In short; I don't recommend this breakfast place. I don't support their business approach and behavior. You can choose businesses that treat people humanely and conduct their business fairly and politely.
